Choir & Praise Band Refresh

With a new music minister and a new fall season ahead of us, it’s time to start thinking about Praise Band and the Choir!

We’ll meet on October 5, 2025 after church (~11:15 AM) to discuss ideas and administrative items for the coming season. See below for more details and an early read.

Choir

We need voices! If you have sang in the choir before, why not join us? If you never have, why not give it a go? We’ll start slow and work up to some fun and interesting pieces that split the oldies/standards/classics with exciting new works that will be a fun challenge to all of us. Please plan on practicing on Thursdays from 7-8PM (but this time is up for discussion). We will be working towards using the choir loft again and helping to lead the congregation in the singing of our routine hymns.

Praise Band

We need instrumentalists! This new take on praise band will be a collaborative experience. We will focus on expanding a repertoire of tried-and-true praise songs that we can keep at the ready while also preparing pieces that range from the familiar to the original to the experimental. Join us and contribute your musical acumen to serving the music ministry of the church.
